Stranton Waste and Salvage (SWS Limited) was acquired by the Niramax Group Limited in November 2007.

Niramax have retained most of SWS's activities, but are making improvements to the site; as well as assessing new technologies so that the operations keep pace with the Government's changing strategy for the waste management industry.

Niramax have evolved to become one of the largest independent service providers for recycling and waste management operations in The North East.
